artSPACE durban
intends the exhibition to be a celebration of collectors and artists and their
favourite works.
The exhibition
showcases a small selection of some of Durban's most active art collectors.
The exhibition
gives a bit of insight into:
· The
variety of works that make a collection
· The
contrasts between the collections
· The
fact that one does not have to be rich to start collecting art
· A
bit of reflection of the ‘taste’ of each collector
· Shows
how even a small collection adds tremendous richness to one’s environment and
life
